1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the AI SpaceClean iOS app and this policy website. AI SpaceClean helps you review, keep, organize, or delete photos and videos on your device using dates, years, and memory-related cues.
“We,” “us,” and “our” mean the developer and operator of AI SpaceClean. “You” means a person who uses the app or visits this website.
2. Information We Handle
AI SpaceClean does not offer account registration, sign-in, or profile features. The app accesses only the photos and videos that iOS allows you to grant access to. You can grant, limit, or revoke that permission in iOS Settings.
2.1 Photo Library Media and Metadata
To display and organize your approved media, the app processes the photos and videos themselves and the following associated information on your device:
- media content and local asset identifiers;
- media type, creation date, video duration, pixel dimensions, file format, original filename, Live Photo status, and image category; and
- latitude and longitude embedded in a photo or video, where available. The app does not request permission to access your device's live location.
2.2 Organization Records and Preferences
The app stores your keep, pending-delete, and undo decisions with their timestamps. It also stores video browsing history, your daily goal, memory-sorting preference, and delete-confirmation preference. These records allow the app to restore your organization progress and settings when you reopen it.
2.3 Private Space
When you choose to import photos, videos, or files into Private Space, the app saves a local copy in its app-specific storage. It also saves the copy's original filename, randomly generated stored filename, file size, import date, media type, and video duration where applicable. Importing into Private Space does not automatically delete the original item from Photos or from its original location.
2.4 Information We Do Not Currently Handle
Based on the current version of the app, we do not collect account details, contacts, live device location, advertising identifiers, payment information, or your activity in other apps. The app does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs.
3. How We Use It
We process the information above on your device for the following purposes:
- to display approved photos and videos and create organization views based on dates, years, and memory cues;
- to show media information such as date, format, duration, dimensions, and location;
- to preserve your keep, pending-delete, browsing, and preference settings;
- to request that the iOS Photos library delete selected media after you confirm the action;
- to save and play local copies that you choose to import into Private Space; and
- to prepare a date- and location-labeled image when you start a system share action.
4. On-Device Storage and Retention
AI SpaceClean performs its photo organization, media previews, preference handling, and organization records on your device. It keeps a local photo-library index cache to make later launches faster. The cache includes local asset identifiers and the metadata listed in Section 2.1; it is not a copy of media uploaded to our servers.
Private Space media copies remain in the app's local storage until you remove them from Private Space or uninstall the app and remove its data. The current app version does not state that it applies additional app-level encryption to Private Space files. Device-level data protection depends on your iOS settings and device state. If you enable iOS or iCloud device backups, local copies may be included in those backups under Apple's backup rules.
Organization records, browsing history, and preferences are kept until you reset them in Settings > Data > Reset Organization Records, or uninstall the app and remove its data. Resetting records does not delete items from your system photo library and does not remove media already imported into Private Space. The system may clear the photo-library index cache under its normal cache-management rules.
When you share an image, the app first writes the share image to a temporary directory. It attempts to remove that temporary file when the sharing flow ends. The system may also clear temporary files under its own storage-management rules.
6. Your Choices and Controls
You can control app-related data in the following ways:
- Adjust AI SpaceClean's photo access in iOS Settings. With Limited Photos access, the app can process only the media you select.
- Reset organization records in the app. This does not affect your system photo library or remove Private Space media.
- Remove an item from Private Space. This removes the local app copy and does not delete the original item from Photos or its original location.
- Delete the app and its data to remove the app's local records and Private Space file copies.
- Use the developer contact information in the AI SpaceClean App Store listing for privacy questions or applicable data requests.
If you revoke photo access, the app can no longer read your photo library. Existing app records and Private Space copies on your device are not automatically deleted when you revoke that permission.
7. Children's Privacy
AI SpaceClean is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Minors should use the app with a parent or guardian's consent and guidance. If you believe that a minor has provided information without appropriate authorization, please use the developer contact information in the AI SpaceClean App Store listing.
8. Updates and Contact
We may update this policy when app features or applicable law change. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. Where a change materially affects you, we will provide notice in the app or by another appropriate method.
For questions about this policy, privacy rights requests available under applicable law, or complaints, please use the developer contact information in the AI SpaceClean App Store listing.
