1. Agreement to These Terms

Welcome to AI SpaceClean (the “App”). These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and the developer and operator of AI SpaceClean (“we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your use of the App. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. Minors should use the App with a parent or guardian's consent and guidance.

2. The Service

AI SpaceClean is an iOS photo and video organization tool. With your permission, it can read photo-library media and related information to provide memory browsing, date- and year-based organization, kept-media records, a pending-delete queue, video browsing, Private Space, and system sharing.

The App does not provide accounts, social-network features, cloud synchronization, or paid subscriptions in its current version. We may update, adjust, or discontinue a feature for product, security, compatibility, legal, or operational reasons, and will provide notice where appropriate.

3. Permissions and Your Device

The App requires photo-library access in iOS to read and organize media. You may grant full access, grant limited access, or deny access. Limited or denied access can make some features unavailable.

You are responsible for ensuring that your device, iCloud account, network connection, and system version support your intended use. You are also responsible for protecting your device unlock credentials. Private Space stores copies in the App's local directory; it is not a replacement for your device passcode, iCloud security settings, or backup plan.

4. Your Media, Private Space, and Deletion

You may use the App only with photos, videos, and files that you own, are authorized to use, or are otherwise legally entitled to process. You are responsible for the consequences of organizing, sharing, or deleting media through the App.

Deletion notice: Marking media as pending deletion only records your organization decision. A delete request is sent only after you confirm it in the App and iOS Photos completes its own required confirmation. The recovery, retention period, and final state of deleted media depend on iOS, Photos, iCloud, and your backup settings.
  • Review media carefully before confirming deletion and make any backup you need first.
  • Private Space imports a local copy. Importing or removing a Private Space item does not automatically delete the original item from Photos or its original location.
  • Private Space copies may be unavailable after the App is uninstalled, app data is cleared, a device fails, or storage is managed. Do not rely on Private Space as your only backup.
  • When you use system sharing, the app or service you choose will handle the shared content under its own rules.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the App for unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful activities. You may not attempt to interfere with, damage, or bypass the normal security or operation of the App, iOS, or related services.

Except where applicable law permits it or we provide written permission, you may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, rent, sell, sublicense, or otherwise improperly use the App or its components.

6. Availability and Third-Party Services

Some App features depend on iOS, the Photos library, iCloud Photos, system geocoding, Apple MapKit, or the system share sheet. Photo permissions, network state, iCloud download state, device performance, available storage, and Apple service availability can affect how a feature performs.

We do not control Apple or third-party apps and services you choose to use. You should review and comply with their applicable terms and privacy practices.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and the interface, code, text, icons, and other content that we provide are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Other than a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App under these terms, you receive no rights in the App.

You retain the rights you hold in your photos, videos, and other media. We do not claim ownership of your media because you use the App.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or that the App will meet a particular organization, backup, or recovery need.

The App is a personal media organization tool. It is not a data backup service and does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. You decide whether to keep, share, back up, or delete your media.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the App; media deletion or loss; iCloud or system-service issues; or a third-party sharing service's handling of content. These terms do not exclude or limit liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where required by law.

9. Changes and Termination

You may stop using the App and remove it from your device at any time. We may suspend or end all or part of the App for security, legal, technical, or reasonable operational reasons.

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. Where a change materially affects you, we will provide notice in the App or by another appropriate method. Continuing to use the App after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing Law, Disputes, and Contact

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. We will first try to resolve a dispute with you in good faith. If it cannot be resolved, either party may bring the dispute before a court with jurisdiction.

For questions about these terms, please use the developer contact information in the AI SpaceClean App Store listing.
